Before Dr. Braga opened her own practice in 2004, I learned about her services through my parents. Dr. Braga had a mobile service that my parents used for a disabled dog. I met her one day when helping my mother and she was so good with my parents dog, I knew I wanted to switch veterinarians. When she opened Island Veterinary Services in 2004, I switched my three dogs to her practice and have been there ever since. Many times when I have called for a last minute appointment,they have always ben able to fit me into her schedule. She never turns you away.

In today’s world, our animals are part of our family and Dr. Braga knows this and treats them with the utmost care. One very important service she provides is “house calls.” She has set one day a week to assist anyone who can not get their animal into her office.

Her staff is just as wonderful as Dr. Braga. They are courteous, sensitive and they treat your animals like their own. I have a blind basset hound who gets an injection every month. Rather than having him go into the office and get all nervous, Vicki and Donna come out to the car to give it to him. They always take that extra step towards “great customer service.”

I would recommend Island Veterinary Services to anyone who has animals and are looking to get the best care possible for their pet.
